Filton Athletic Football Club will be sporting smart new kit this season after an £800 deal with insurance firm LV.
The club, which runs two sides at Elm Park, was given the cash for first team and second team outfits.
Tim Phillips, LV’s charity committee chair, visited the squad before a recent training session at Orchard School Bristol to officially hand over the kit to the players. He was given a framed club jersey as a gesture of thanks.
Club spokesperson Pat Burge said: “We are delighted with the kit as we usually have to do a lot of fundraising.”
Filton Athletic play on Saturdays in Divisions 1 and 4 of the Bristol Suburban League.
The club is looking for a goalkeeper. Anyone interested should ring Nathan on 07884336354.
